Regina Homes For Sale

Regina is a the second largest city in Saskatchewan and is home to around 180,000 people. It is the capitol of the province, and the economic centre of the surrounding area. Regina is well-known for its spare beauty, and meticulously planned communities. Much of the city is covered with trees and parks and other space for biking and skiing. Regina is also home to the University of Regina, an arm of the University of Saskatchewan where students come from all over the world to pursue their academic careers.

 

There is much to appreciate about Regina. Since its establishment in 1882 the city has attracted some national notoriety for its placement among the province’s extremely flat prairies. But despite or because of its geographical positioning, Regina has been able to thrive as one of the most carefully crafted cities in Canada. To this day the city’s wheat pool handles more agricultural product than any other city in the world, and that only comprises a fraction of the city’s economy.

 

Regina is also well endowed with natural resources, a fact that has become increasingly interesting to neighboring provinces. With the world price of oil being what is, the province and Regina in particular have become the site of a lot more activity, and Regina is set to see a lot of growth over the coming years. Already Regina has begun to steadily grow, and Regina’s homes have shown a tendency to appreciate in value over the years.

 

There are a lot of great Regina homes for sale, in all four quarters of the city.
